I got grey karma today! I thought you could only give Green (Positive) or Red (Negative)? Whaty does grey mean?

At the bottom of every post theres a few buttons, next to report there is Karma. Click it and you selt approve or disapprove (depending on how you feel about the post) and give a reason!

yes every 100k rep points your rep power goes up one, also every 500 posts will increase it by one..
