Nobody ever said that guns are the only tool that can be used to murder people (or a bunch of people)...

But they are far and away the EASIEST tool to use to kill someone or a bunch of people

The only other tool that is perhaps comparable is using a vehicle....An even that is not as easy....

Knives/Bombs/Blunt objects/Poison etc all have numerous "downsides" to them which makes their use and or acquisition/creation for the purpose of murder much more difficult....than for firearms
