Why is the 7th Day Adventist considered a cult?

A lot of stuff really, the way they started, alleged false prophecies, over reliance on Ellen White's teaching. They also don't believe the bible to be the ultimate authority in their faith and have weird interpretations. They actually dont really believe the Pauline gospels which is why they try to practice the law. Their observance of the law like the Sabbath and Dietary Laws means they are not part of the church though they claim to be, they don't even know there is a New Testament and an Old Testament, they are all over the place.
