And Mosley (if you can say Mosley was better).

Oscar cause even as a part time fighter he was relatively healthy.

    Cotto because he wasn't drained.

And Mosley simply because he fought Mosley 1st.

Pacman fought the better versions of Hatton and Marquez.

Hatton because he fought him at his dominant weight.

Marquez because ny version of the Marquez Pacman fought was in better shape than the fat, bloated and cheated Marquez Floyd fought.
How did Manny fight the better version of Hatton , elaborate will you ?

Sorry missed where you ment the weight , you do know they were the same for fight night don't you ? are you saying to arrive at your best fight weight its better to dry out first or not have to dry out ?

Who do you think fought the better versions of each of these fighters?

      Floyd:

      ODLH
      Hatton
      SSM

      Manny:

      Cotto
      JMM

      Not really debateable imo.

Floyd: Mosley, De La Hoya, Hatton.

          Pacquiao: Marquez.

Cotto is a difficult one to call. Physically he would have been better in the Pacquiao fight ( as the beating shaved off his career some. Mentally he would have been better in the Mayweather fight, he had build some momentum and had a more stable camp.

Floyd fought the better version of DLH
Pac fought the better version of Cotto
            Hatton is even for both
Floyd fought the better version of Mosley.

As far as Marquez, styles make fights. I think they both fought a pretty damn good version of him, but Marquez' style is perfect against Pac and not so much against Floyd.

Here's what I know, 140 and 147 are in fact 2 different weight classes, true story. Point blank period. I also know that no one worried about (fight night weight before Floyd and Pacman needed them to cherrypick).

I fixed for you. I'm wondering why this blinding fact always forgotten besides...

Oscar De La Hoya - Pac moved up 2 weight classes in this fight with just 1 fight at lightweight to boot and tko him in 8.

Ricky Hatton - Pac moved down to 140 after he fought Oscar at 147 and ko him in 2.

Miguel Cotto - Pac moved up again to welterweight (145 catchweight) to fight Cotto and tko him in 12.

Juan Manuel Marquez - Pac fought young prime Marquez at 126 and 130. Close fights but not a robbery like Pac vs Bradley fight.

Shane Mosley - Floyd fought a better version of past prime Mosley tough but Pac looks better battering past prime Mosley.

Floyd fought a better version of all of them except Marquez...but then again for all we know that same Marquez Floyd fought would probably beat Pacquiao
