          - -Remember when Oscar sparred Shak in what was obviously heavily orchestrated?

Oscar candies made a big deal about how he whooped Shak when it was nothing more than a tapfest

How would the Chamberlain-Ali fight have gone? I'd much rather debate Ali vs Teófilo Stevenson!

Anyway, Chamberlin might have some early success. Eventually he'd gas a bit and Al would take over and beat him. It would help if Ali had a body attack, and could infightings a bit. He's playing into Chamberlin's game by using the jab and right hand for 90% of the punches thrown.

              - -Eh, eh, ABC and Cosell scored a big coup by arranging that signing on national TV in 1966(7)

Prob being neither Ali or Herbert knew the first thing about Wilt, so they melted like dropped snowcones on a summer sidewalk and refused to sign much less fight.

They knew more than you to be sure.

Ali kos him first right he lands. Big guy and great athelete but a silly match up. He wasn't a fighter.

Marciano would virtually break Wilt in half and stack him.

No matter how well trained Wilt was not a fighter. He was a basketball player so, as just one of many examples, he had no experience in taking blows to the head, body nor being able to roll with punches which is an ability developed over many years of boxing experience. How would he handle taking a blow to the eyes, nose, being cut, an eye closed etc? Obviously not very well as he was a basketball player not a fighter.

First Ali straight right hand to the chin ends the fight. Could be round one to round 5. More than likely Ali carries Wilt a few rounds before lowering the boom. If Wilt does not take the full count from that right hand he at least cowers to the ropes, turns his back signaling the ref to stop the fight.

An absolute no contest fight. Wilt would be lucky getting past Chuck Wepner.
