Campillo on Stevenson's shortlist of opponents

I got around to watching Campillo-Williams Jr. this weekend...that was more of a case of Williams folding up than anything great that Campillo did. As a matter of fact, Campillo looked extremely sluggish, especially with his footwork. I would definitely not be happy with a Campillo fight. Are the Stevenson people even considering a Jean Pascal fight or was that just empty talk?

Pascal wants 50 / 50. Adonis says no.

Adonis apparently already considers himself a big dog in negotiating with Hopkins and Pascal.

They said they were going to announce his opponent today. (Edit: damn, planned Thursday press conference has been cancelled so we probably won't know this week)

Campillo said he was training yesterday because he was still in the running. So hopefully that dude is wrong.

Campillo also said he resumed training today as he is a candidate to face @AdonisSuperman.

Campillo's one of those hard luck guys that boxing fans should try harder to support and definitely deserves much better. He's been robbed against Shumenov, Murat, and Cloud, and can't even get approved for a fight on Showtime.

People talk all the time about fighters who get robbed, well Campillo is actually one of those guys. Dude has never gotten a fair shake.

Campillo just got a W against a top 15 LHW, dumb of Showtime to not make this match-up. Are they afraid that he makes Adonis look bad?

Maybe that's enough time for Pascal now. Showtime would have looked pretty bad if they gave Adonis another tuneup after the Hopkins/Stevenson debacle and Garcia/Salka.

Campillo is deserving though truthfully wasn't that interested I the fight his chin is too shaky for a puncher like Adonis would rather see him against another up n comer type.

Main Events should try to make Campillo v Lepikhen the guy they had on last week as a barometer.
