[HOLY S**T!] I just made my first purchase on a house, any tips?

Yes I know I could/should ask my realtor but just wanted any information or tips I should be aware of.

They just accepted my offer so now we need to do all the home inspections, complete the loan, etc.

Is there anything that I should make sure I do? Or anything at all?

It's a huge purchase and I can't believe it's happening so you can believe I'm nervous as hell.

Make sure you hire an additional home inspector and have his inspection report submitted to the builder and have discrepancies addressed by the builder..

not brand new but it was bought by a contractor about a couple months ago and they completely remodeled it. Yeah we are in the process of looking for our own home inspector.
