actually baldomir was reenergized when he fought canelo at 150. it was a great win. baldomir was drained when he fought floyd. that's why he looked so slow.

Francisco Lorenzo was a lot worse, if he counts.

      Carlos Maussa too.

Add a slew of guys who held belts at 168 like Thobela and Hilton.

Baldomir wasn't that bad. He just looked bad, but had abnormally good stamina and punch resistance. He was on somewhat of a tear before getting to Judah. Definitely a top 10 guy going in.

Like a second prime, really puts things into perspective and shows what a weight draining cherrypicker Floyd is.

Floyd definitely didn't want to see the new rejuvenated Baldo. He knew the new Baldo was a completely different fighter. I don't even count his lose to Floyd tbh

yeah a great tear, his best win was prob mickey rodriguez who later showed up to give berto his free belt.

For this reason by way of triangle theory win Canelo should be p4p #2 at least having beat not just 2nd prime non weight drained Baldo but Lopez who beat Ortiz who beat Berto who beat a great fighter Baldo was in an all out war with.

Heart and toughness goes to Baldo. I dare to say that Baldo has more heart and toughness than most fighters.
                  Technique?

Wild winging haymakers, clumsy footwork, poor variety of punches, no jab, inability to throw combinations...

                  Technique?

And his handspeed is only slightly above average. All he has is power... to knock out journeymen.

And Holy & Moorer didn't fight a version of Foreman that was pushing 50.

                  early 40's >>>> mid-40's >>>> late 40's

The version of Foreman that Holy & Moorer fought (especially the one that Holy fought) and the one that Briggs fought are night & day.

Beating Judah & Gatti DECISIVELY is better than anything that Briggs has ever done.
