Ward didn't want to fight in Nottingham. That's what it comes down to.

Ward claims he wants the fight, come over and get it.

i think froch makes a fair point about froch v ward not being able to sell out wembley,
ever since the groves fight at wembley every tom d*ck and harry seems to think they can sell out wembley lol,
to be fair only a few fight could genuinely do it like khan v brook for example,
that would easily sell it out

        Call ward delusional

        But not scared

He was still willing to go to England

Neither of them really wanted the fight. How can people not see that this was just posturing and it still is.

Ward was never going to make his Roc Nation debut after 2 years out against Carl Froch in England. He said he wanted to fight at Wembley LOL....people actually think he was serious?

Froch probably knew there was no chance of it either. He was hoping for the Chavez fight.

Neither of them wanted it. The WBA calling for it was just an inconvenience to both fighters' plans.

Guess ward is not that confident in his skills, all fights must be on BET and in oakland and all ref and judges must be black and the venue must accept ebt for admission fees aswell.

Froch knows he can't beat him fair, so he wants to lure him to England for a robbery, this is just cowardly, no honor.

Last time they fought in a neutral venue, in NJ, and Ward won despite having a broken hand and nearly getting robbed on the cards. Ward deserves a rematch in his hometown, Oakland.

Ward was silly to think this fight could sell out Wembley. If he wanted to fight in London though he could have requested to hold it at the 02 Arena, where Froch fought Kessler in 2013. That was a great atmosphere from what I recall and would give Froch a home fight of sorts but still far from his hometown, similar to the Oakland and Atlantic City situation for Ward in 2011.

Just seems Ward is content on doing what he is doing though...

Froch vs Ward in the USA = 2,000 fans in attendance
Froch vs Ward in the UK = 35,000 + fans in attendance
