Damn, this fight on such short notice may be more difficult than the original with Aldo. Mendes is one of the best wrestlers and McGregor is yet to face someone of such caliber. Crazily enough, McGregor was slight favourite vs Aldo but is an underdog vs Mendes who lost to Aldo twice. Who do you think will win?

Very interesting match up, will be good to see how McGregor does versus a wrestler and if he comes through this I believe he is the real deal. However, Aldo is a monster and that fight will still be 50/50.

Connor was a legit threat to aldo becaise of his boxing.

He already beat Chad x2

Chad will beat Connor becaue connar is from england and therefore cant defend the takedown

Which means he wont have to face either of them for a while since he already beat chad x2 and connor will be too low ranking after chad beats him.

Even tho aldo looses out on a big pay day he will end up with more money long term, since he will stay at the top of his division for longer, kinda like mayweather did putting off the pacman fight and carefully picking his opponents, ones he knew he could beat.

Shrewd and good move for aldo, not a good thing for the fans though.

I don't think this is more dangerous based on peoples assumptions that McGregor has no groundgame. I like Conor but there is a lot of glaring horrific flaws in his stand up.
