what u think about cross-platform gaming, and do you think it will be fair

.....you know, I've always heard that term "cross-platform gaming" but never knew what it really was.

Is it games like call of duty that are avilable for more than one console? Like non exclusives?

each system has its own exclusive games like gears of war on 360 and god of war on ps3 both systems are great, but my weapon of choice is ps3.......imagine if apple made a Istation game system......
