In the 80's you have metallica, the 90's pantera, 2000's slipknot, but 2010+? I have no idea, just seems to be a bunch of trendy emo phaggots....

I don't know if its a too many genres issue, and not just a they're not that good issue. Plenty of metal heads still exist, and I'd have to think that if a band like pantera came along with music that kicked your d!k in, then they would be huge.

There are plenty of bands with groovy riffs like Pantera, they just aren't mainstream anymore so you need to seek them out yourself.

The mainstream metal bands today are watered down versions of old with effeminate vocals and huge pop choruses.
