Obviously never going to see another Gatti. He was one of a kind.

If I had to appoint someone "Gatti-ish".... maybe Katsidis?

What about Pawel Wolak?

The guy wasn't favored much against Yuri Foreman but he bulldozed the guy into submission.

Then he was supposed to beat an opponent easily but instead turned that into a FOTY candidate by simply both sides not giving up. Paid little just like Gatti and Ward were.

Now Pawel Wolak is being matched against tougher opponents while keeping Delvin Rodriguez within arm's reach.

Katsidis is much as like Gatti but the only difference is that Gatti was a champion and shared the main event ring with the best out there like Oscar De La Hoya and Duckweather.

Katsidis have never been a champion not saying Wolak is too. Wolak is a victim of his division no one with a belt wants to fight him Miguel Cotto, Cornelius Bundrage, Saul Alvarez, and that European champion. At least Katsidis got the chance to fight for the title numerous times only to lose over and over again unlike Gatti who won championship level fights.

Wolak is the unknown factor and I hope he gets the chance to prove his mettle as much as Katsidis and Gatti did.

He has defensive weaknesses, Khan blasted him with everything and the kitchen sink and crushed him with a vicious body shot. And he still kept coming.

Maidana is tougher than Gatti ever was. I think he's actually got more punching power than Gatti too, and he throws more punches as well.
