I'm kind of confused with this whole situation.
There are a handful of Haymon advised fighters who are promoted by Golden Boy, and quite a few who aren't under any promotional banner.
So essentially when one of these Haymon managed non promoted fighters fight, what banner do they fight under? Do they sign some sort of contract to be promoted by Golden Boy for just the night of the fight?
Take for instance GRJ vs Lomachenko. Loma is a Top Rank fighter but that's irrelevant since the fight went to a purse bid which Golden Boy won. But GRJ isn't even a Golden Boy fighter, he's managed by Haymon and that's about it as he's not promoted by anyone. But if he's not with Golden Boy, firstly, who promoted the fight? And secondly, why were there Golden Boy Promotions banners on the ropes if neither GRJ nor Loma are Golden Boy fighters?
Do these Haymon guys sign a one fight deal to appear on Golden Boy cards?
