If Jr. was scheduled to fight on PBC card, we wouldn't be reading these "articles".

Chavez Jr has his own career and he didnt do too bad.
Wow!!! Cannot beleive it!!! Didn't do too bad? He received gifts with a couple of unknowns, did not make weight a few times, failed several drug tests, got drilled by class c fonforra, got destroyed by a mini Canelo... hell Vera whooped his ass too... don't know what dimension you're living in but I try to base my opinion of boxers on facts not wishes and feelings.... Chavez is a piece of **** for Mexican boxing... total disrespect to all of those boxers that have put Mexico at the top of the boxing game... one of the biggest stains in that legendary history and that includes his dad...

It's a legitimate question, man. I mean quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

TBH I tend to see all testing in boxing as something of a fig leaf - a sop to assuage public concern - rather than a genuine attempt to clean up the sport.

That said, in this case I would be arguing that the Arizona commision should have been directing any accusations of impartiality at NAC not VADA since VADA were acting under instruction under the auspices of the NACs enhancing testing program (which in itself is not random but selective and therefore not impartial whether rightly or wrongly).

I was thinking why would VADA just refuse to participate in something that they would have been paid for, this is a much clearer picture..VADA going by Chavez's history refused to continue in the process, once he refused to be tested in october. And i don't blame them one bit, So why is the Arizona commission sending a defamating email questioning VADA's integrity to Nevada? That is sooo shady.
Where does it say that?

The one thing that throws me off is seeing lower level fighters get charged less for VADA while big names like AJ have to pay significantly more. If they have the same tests why are they charging the rich fighters more?

Hearn could end up getting banned from promoting in Nevada. It also could extend to his fighter Chavez.

From the three threads that I have been following over the last 4 days. I asked posters questions of this subject when I saw Hearn tweet. I did my research before coming to this conclusion using those facts.

The fact is Chavez Jr had not signed the fight contract and was not licensed when a random VADA representative who failed to show ID requested that Chavez Jr give up his blood.

Do these testing agencies really expect these boxers to give up their piss and blood to some random guy? The boxers likely don't know the WBC CBP exists. Once everything was explained to Chavez Jr he was willing to take a test just a few days later. A big misunderstanding. Let the fight go on!

Was this a fact? That Chavez only refused testing because he hasnít sign the contract at that point? Did he sign the VADA drug testing contract before the actual fight contract? That would be odd if thatís the case.

If this was a big misunderstanding then I wouldnít expect the fight to be moved swiftly from Nevada to Arizona. I would have expected Team Chavez to have sit and explain those facts to the NSAC and VADA. Not just agree to go to Arizona under another sanctioning body.

They left themselves open to accusations by doing that, especially with Chavez history of failed tests.
