    Also from the link.

"All of the values were below 1ng/ml and therefore in the range of potential meat contamination cases."

Canelo's results were between 0.6-0.8. Directly posted on ESPN article the letter from VADA stating the levels canelo had in his system clearly lower.
This isn't a comment on whether Canelo deliberately used Clenbuterol or ingested it inadvertently, because I honestly don't know, but just because the metabolite levels were 'in the range of potential meat contamination cases' does not mean they were not also in the range of PED usage. It's just a matter of the timing - any metabolite is eliminated at a certain rate (it's half-life). If the original dose was larger it would just mean a longer time would have had to elapse between the ingestion or administration of the substance and the observed level of metabolites in the bloodstream. There has been considerable attention given to the fact that Canelos levels were with the range of potential meat contamination, but all that means is that the meat story is not ruled out by the evidence, not that it is true.

Anyway. regardless. This will be brushed under the carpet and the fight will continue. Business as usual. The only thing that I find really distasteful in this whole affair is the blatant hypocrisy of the WBC and WBA in failing to enforce their own rules.

These testing agencies are following their rules. Their rules on tained meat and athletes existed for these countries long before canelo. We have multiple examples in boxing the last 5 years for fighters not named canelo and examples in the NFL. My point is idiot Jubeli created a post to lie and suggest canelo had high levels that's not true. A he had very low levels consistent with past examples of athletes who ate tained meat B he Googled to search any example he could find of a cyclist being banned for lower ignoring the major difference. That athlete had no valid excuse for how it got there in the first place and comes from Europe which doesn't have tained meat problem.

The meat source in Mexico is the factor here. A cyclist testing with small traces but live in the Europe and countries that don't have this in their food. Meanwhile canelo lives in the part of the world that does is why he and other boxers and even NFL player were not penalized. WADA also has case studies of the trace amounts that would exist from eating tainted meat and canelo matches those limits.

So stupid to say we'll the cyclist got suspended. No shyt they they don't have a valid excuse for how it got in their system and we're clearly cheating because they don't have tainted meat in europe where they eat and and train. You need to compare canelo levels to folks who ate Mexican tained meat and according to all these experts these are the levels in range for those who did. It's a apples to orange comparison folks are making.
A sample of Contador’s urine, taken during a rest day in the 2010 Tour de France, contained traces of clenbuterol – a banned substance in cycling and many other sports. Contador claims the clenbuterol in his body was the result of eating contaminated Spanish beef.

Ciaran Kelly alleged his regular butcher imported frozen meat from a number of countries, including Argentina, New Zealand, Brazil and Spain and sold it marked as Irish beef; none of which he was able to support with evidence.

Upon careful analysis of Mr Rogers' explanations and the accompanying technical reports the UCI found that there was a significant probability that the presence of clenbuterol may have resulted from the consumption of contaminated meat from China

While the national association, the Koninklijke Nederlandsche Wielren Unie, held that the rider (Rudi van Houts) was culpable of having clenbuterol in his system, it accepted his explanation that he had ingesting it innocently after eating a steak during a trip to Mexico.

They all use the same excuse. Every.Single.One.Of.Them.

They quite literally used the same excuse as Clenelo.
