Anyone see this result from Melbourne yesterday?
Jeff Horn KO1 Samuel Colomban
Colomban never been stopped in his previous five losses (21 wins) and he's been the distance against Wale Omotose & Denton Vassell - both of whom have decent power at Commonwealth level.
Horn has only had 5 fights with 4 kayos one a draw when a clash of heads caused a stoppage injury on his opponent.
I was talking to an Aussie matchmaker (via a friend) this morning & he was telling me not to get too excited as Colomban is shopworn but for himto even be fighting the bloke in his 5th fight is incredible.
His trainer, Glenn Rushton, seems a interesting fella too. A property & investment millionaire who trains boxers for fun.
I'll be keeping an eye on Jeff Horn. He has two bout bouts scheduled for this year.
