And the other trainer will probably let you as much gauze pad as you want as it softens the guy's fists.
It's the adhesive tape that can be dangerous.
They don't even allow the brown rubberized adhesive tape anymore.
We used them back in the days when I toured with pros.
Double stack even. It was allowed then.
I knew boxers' who fought in South Korea and Thailand. They had bricks for wraps then. Figuratively speaking of course.
The wraps today are so much softer .
Hell, I saw JImmy Montoya use duct tape on Camacho's hands on CBS. Right on tv. Can't do that now.
You have an unhealthy obsession with heavy bags

But stacking is only valid in Las Vegas for some reason.

Gauze pads are allowed up to a certain point .
Gauze pads over the knuckles is not considered stacking.
Unless you have adhesive tape over them outside of the in-between fingers strip.
When the palm area has two SEPARATE layers of adhesive tape, that is considered stacking.
Different commish have so many interpretations about that .
Double stacking in the wrist area really does no harm imo.

From what Abel claims, only Nevada allows stacking - nowhere else in the US. At least with pro fights.

They allowed it for Canelo .
Canelo was also allowed to stack in Texas .

            GBP sure has some clout.
Even Floyd was not allowed to stack.
Pac was not allowed to stack.

            But, Clenbunelo was allowed.
