Mathysse isn't exactly a lots of action fighter tho. He's the 140lb version of Mikey Garcia his luck is he's not of Mexican descent. And that's why it is a legit point that in his two biggest fights, his performances were quite stale even though he was favored to lose.

Didn't mean to imply that, even though i like Matthysse and enjoy watching him fight. My comment is more aimed towards the mentality of todays promoters. They seem to favor name recognition or safety over great fights and/or risk.

Sounds like Arum comes from the Lou Dibella school of ducking. He said the same thing about Pirog and Golovkin so pretty boy could fight guys like Barker and Murray aka lesser known and lower rated MW's.
