  • Floyd could not "MMA box"

pac has a better chance of a succesful career in mma than floyd

floyd's shoulder roll technique would not work in mma, cause of being exposed to leg kicks etc. etc..

No boxer would do good. Not Pac, Floyd, Klitschko's, not Sergio or nobody.

Unless they trained for a year or 2 straight and started from the bottom. They go to the UFC their getting trashed just like Toney, taken down and made look foolish.

The whole arguement of what fighters are better is stupid because 2 totally different sports. The best in BOTH sports would get TRASHED, EMBARASSED, RAPED in the opposite sport.

It's a bit different. The highest level boxers are of course better at straight boxing than a mixed martial artist. Still, MMA fighters do cross-train in boxing and many of the top fighters have respectable boxing at the least. On the other hand, no boxer trains wrestling, BJJ, or Muay Thai.

Some boxers would be better than others at adapting their boxing for MMA, but no boxer will have long-term success with just their boxing in MMA.

Absolutely true. They're whole mental approach to the game has to change which takes time.

In boxing, they don't have to worry about flying knees, elbows, body slams, triangle chokes, shoot ins, and take downs.

Toney just went in there all macho and came back with his ego rammed up his butt. Now he claims he's seen the light.
