Nel o doesn't need to beat any middleweights. We know nelo is a top middleweight and Nell would beat any middleweight outside Ggg and Jacobs and bjs maybe.
Ggg will be amongst best middleweights. He will be mentioned in same breath as hagler, srr and monzon

What ww was that. Cuz if your talking about Leonard that was a bogus decision.

Win or lose his career is already a failure.

Seems like its more of they didn't want to risk losing to a fighter that didn't bring much reward at the time. Apples to oranges, Duran, Hagler , Hearns and Benitez lost to lesser guys than Floyd. The difference between those guys and Floyd is that FLoyd adapted his style and relied on his ring IQ to continue to perform at high level until he retired. Im not a FLoyd fan but i'm not blinded by his talents and the hate people put out there because they dont like him.
You are judge by the entirety of your career. By opportunities you got, and which ones you didn’t seize. Not the what ifs, whatnot and could've would'ves.
I like Floyd but he doesn’t have a win equivalent to any of Leonard’s victories over atgs.
His best win against an absolute prime opponent is Corrales. Floyd is TBE though as he has been consistently great his entire career base on stats and resume but he lacks a win over a prime ATG like himself.

So let’s not give him credit like he beat those guys on their primes just because he would likely have.

Floyd retired when Cotto and margarito was hot. Had he beat them both when they were 28 in 08 it would have certainly surpassed his Corrales win.

People ask for more because Floyd could’ve done more, and put himself in that standard.
Pac already agreed to the testing way back 2011 if u gonna use it as an excuse for failed negotiations.

Canelo and GGG are good fighters but they are not on that level of pressure since they are not being compared to the GOATs. Otherwise they’d fold.

Lampley is correct. Golovkin hasn't done anything notable in his entire career. Even his biggest cheerleader (Lampley) has now seen the light.
