The stars of any competitive fight will always be the attraction, not the promoters or people behind the event. Schaefer is easily replaceable. People will always see good fights, whether PPVs or not.

GBP is supposed to make truckloads of cash off of Mayweather fights and be able to fund many fights. So far they've only been recycling Judah and Malignaggi. Then the usual Star vs Bum types of fights. Even then they're so rare that it's not worth signing up for a SHO subscription.

I don't know if Schaefer is intentionally not making Star vs Star types to save for his venture with Haymon. Or maybe GBP is just plain broke.
