That's the 3rd fight moron. Neither guy got knocked down, and both were stepping on each others feet. That's what happens in boxing when you are both trying to establish the outside foot. Marquez is just better at it.

This is the 4th fight KO. Neither guy has his foot on the other. Their toes are touching, but neither has his foot on the others.

You know if manny had his hand up or didn't drive in so reckless the foot stomping wouldn't happen as often.

But I do think Marquez uses it to his advantage but that's the name of the game strategy.

Maybe manny should try stepping on his foot so he can't move as well.

He did. Plenty. That's how he scored the knock down of Marquez. Much, much more clearly, and much more blatantly than Marquez did.

That's just what happens. Neither guy tries to do it. It's not a strategy. It's a direct outcome of both of their lead feet being on the same side. Whoever is stepping forward and leading is going to be stepping on the other guys foot. Simple as that.
