Parker is either the 2nd or 3rd or at worst the 4th best opponent Joshua has beaten, and Ruiz was right with him. Is Ruiz great? No, but he deserves some respect. He will give it a go even if Joshua ultimately proves he's a few levels above him.

His only skill is very fast hands, but he has short arms. I don't see this as a serious match for aj. Miller would have been thoughter, but slower. Rivas is much better than Ruiz, boxing wise, and so are Gorman, Dubois and Kownaki.

They fail to mention that he has nothing else going for him. His feet won't even allow him to get into distance to showcase any hand speed.

It's basically an easy showcase fight for AJ's debut in USA. They can sell Ruiz as competitive but they know he's going to be a punch bag for AJ.

lol, why'd you drag Arreola into this? They've never fought and "the nightmare" is hardly a yardstick for elite level HW's. Adamek beat him and Stiverne beat him twice, not many would say either of them was ever truly world class. He couldn't even beat Fred Kassi who's a journeyman at best.

Wtf does Arreola have to do with anything? You can't say "He hasn't even beat X" if they've never even been in the ring together.


Joshua is a C level fighter. He hasn't even beat Riddick Bowe!
