Lennox Lewis is one of the most underrated champions of all times. Shame shame shame.

Lennox fought in the Deepest, toughest division in the history of the sport. He existed in the era where both America and Eastern Europe had elite heavyweight fighters.
He defeated the last American to medal silver or higher in the Olympics: Riddick Bowe
Defeated the first dominant Eastern Euro champ in Vitali Klitschko.
Perfect bookends to an ATG career.

Those are some of Lennox's wins. I didn't know a combined record of 242-3 are considered 'shot'..
Grant was widely considered the next American Hope ( You notice that I'm not racist and didn't use the word black)
Lewis dominated Grant and afterwards everyone attempted to deny Grant was hyped up. **** was funny... Grant was HYPED UP BEYOND BELIEF. He was the 6'8 former football giant who was gonna TAKE THE TITLE BACK TO AMERICA.. Lennox hit him so hard he had trauma.
Just because the good fighters Lewis dominate are never the same again dont mean they weren't good.
A lot of these fighters HEAD INTO THE LENNOX FIGHT looking good and smelling good. They head out half dead and smelling like skunk.

Lennox Lewis is the only real world champion.
Lewis have defeated more fighters from more places around the world than any other fighter in the history of HW Boxing.
Lennox have defeated fighters from:
Argentina
Wales
Zambia
Purto Rico
France
Canada
Poland
Croatia
Samoa
South Africa
Untied States
Australia
and the Ukraine.
That is 13 countries.
13 god damn countries.
Lennox cleaned out the best men 13 COUNTRIES have to offer.
It's funny they called Ali a World Champion.. They called Frazier a world champion.
Lennox Lewis is an actual WORLD champion.
13 countries.

Agreed, Lennox Lewis is an incredible champion. He just happened to not be American when the HBO programmers wanted an American heavyweight champion.
Of course, Lewis subsequently beat and humiliated all of the American hopes HBO pitted him against (Michael Grant, Shannon Briggs, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson).
To solidify his legacy, he entered the ring in the worst shape of his life and TKO'ed a prime Vitali Klitschko, who ten years later is still a heavyweight titleholder.

Check the sites of ESB and NSB.. Classics or history sections.
Check this very poll. The majority of fans, writers, and historians have Lennox in the top 10.
Weather it's fan forums like this or it's boxing writers, Lewis's place as an ATG is solidified.. It's simply a matter of 'what place'
Nobody is dumb enough (hopefully not you) to deny him an ATG standing. The question is simply how high.
