They have MOS's as MARITIME ENFORCEMENT SPECIALIST and INVESTIGATORS. They are considered federal agents. The Coast Guard does some cool ass stuff and risky missions. When i worked for DHS, we'd get notices for Coast Guard deaths and they happen often. The Coast guard was responsible for arresting Arrellano-Felix.

Add more border patrol officers. They actually stop people from crossing over.

If trump gets re-elected without building that wall, let’s see if he mentions the wall in his second term. I’d bet a 1000 bucks that the wall is never brought up again.
