Tank waiting to fight Loma is the same thing as Loma not fighting Berchelt at 130 and then eventually fighting him at 135, which appears to be the plan.
History teaches us that all promoters make fights when its best for their fighter, not when its best for their fighter's opponent. Take ODH, he fought everyone, but waited a long time before he fought Floyd, who called him out for years prior to them fighting. Arum made the fight when the payday was maximized. Meanwhile, he fought Vargas very soon after he called him out and disparaged him. This is NSB so if the discussion involves a Haymon/Floyd associated fighter posters are going to take a different position than they would if a fighter associated with Arum, Hearn or another promoter did same. |

pacquiao ducks floyd how? the same way floyd ducks pacquiao? by demanding a blood test? offering 40 million bucks [ Image View Removed. Please Click Here. ?]cotto floyd left bob arum and briefly retired during cotto's prime. if you were watching boxing at the time you'd know that bob arum offered floyd an INSANE amout of money in teh context of boxing at the time and also floyd's career, 8 million f#cking dollars, to fight antonio margarito. off of that margarito got a reputation as being the most avoided man in boxing, because floyd avoided the fight! really! it was a career high payday and the offer is super well documented. you're just disilusioned if you think floyd and haymon didn't position his career for money. in the process he cemented one of the best legacies ever! but that doesn't negate the fact that the guy did not fight prime competition at welterweight and that the best names on his resume at the weight [where he made more money than any boxer ever, incidentally Image View Removed. So what was 40 million to pacquiao? Or better yet the original 50/50 offer? But Floyd is supposed to turn down the highest grossing fight of all time with Oscar for 8 million? Stfu |

Image View Removed. Please Click Here. His promoter coming up with more excuses as the years went on just proves my point even more. Only casuals, pactrds and floyd haters like to ignore the truth about this though. Image View Removed. Please Click Here. Cotto and his team saying Cotto wasn't ready to face floyd when they were both at 140 isn't floyd's fault. That is all on cotto Image View Removed. Please Click Here. Oh and since you brought up Margarito. Lets not forget the fact that Arum wouldn't promise the de la hoya fight, which promoted floyd to leave top rank. Who was Margarito signed to? You guessed it top rank. It's also funny how you guys rewrite history. Baldomir was supposedly the guy Floyd was "ducking" and was considered the welterweight champion. But once floyd beat him margatirto became the guy floyd was ducking. This is the truth Image View Removed. Please Click Here. Next time try harder
