Look the reality is is that MOST professional boxers take PED's anyway and will always continue to do so.

But no way should they ever make it explicitly "legal" to take them.

The testing/masking game must continue even if it is largely a symbolic deterrent because it atleast keeps the athletes off them ALL the time and prevents reckless drug abuse.

Let boxers to be on roids??? That would make boxing the most unprofessional sport in the world and nobody outside the boxing community would take our sport seriously.

Nice logic. Something is a problem, just allow it.

Rape, murder, robbery/burglary, fraud, let's allow all of those too, since they are such a big problem.

The reason they shouldn't allow PED's is because not every single fighter wants to use them because PED's have health side effects. Since PED's provide an unfair advantage to the people using them fights would no longer be fair when you matched two fighters who were not both using PED's.

Further more, in a world where PED's were legal and every fighter decided to use them the fights would just turn into a competition of who's using more and better PED's so the idea of legalizing PED's is stupid.

Even though the use of PED's can not be stopped 100% it doesn't mean that the people who regulate the sport should not try to prevent the problem or minimize it. It's like crime, it can not be stopped 100% but it doesn't mean that it should be legal.

Good point. Floyd is the only ped user who gets away with positive test results. Not fair.
