  • If floyd hadnt fought shane who would he have fought?

I,ve read a lot of articles about pac being this and floyd being that but, truth be told that by these two guy,s not fighting each other and having pac stepping up and fighting a true w.w. Fighter in his prime named joshua clottey forced floyd to step his game up and challenge shane mosley who is no where near his prime... Now, just imagine if floyd didn,t fight shane mosley, who else would floyd fight and don,t dare say paul williams or even cotto... Well we know he thought about mathew hatton because of the backing of the brits so who could he have fought really if not mosley??? Please no hate...

    Kermit Cintron........

Or he wouldve waited for the Berto-Mosley winner.

Paulie Malignaggi... That is the only fighter who was on the list that Golden Boy really talked behind the scenes of fighting...

I here ya ceil... But that would be to much of a risk to fight cintron... You know floyd would say cintron has no backing so thats out...and far as the winner between berto and mosley would put the fight around sept or so and that means floyd would be sitting on the shelf...

His choices were slim for March 13th. Cintron wouldve been the best opponent.

I just bumped the thread when Oscar said he coukld get the fight.

GBP had a list with Campbell, Cintron, Malignaggi and a few others.

Nobody from GBP ever contacted anybody for Campbell or Cintron. Never.... Didn't even talk to MGM about holding the March date for Cintron or Campbell...

However, they did talk to the MGM about holding that date for Floyd-Malignaggi. The head of the MGM casino who is in bed with Golden boy mind. They have a deal confirmed that date was set for Floyd-Malignaggi...

              Somebody should bump that...

              Just sayin

It really means **** now, it is a stupid point that should have not been brought up...

Floyd is fighting Shane when clearly Floyd didn't have to and I think Shane is an elite fighter so props to Floyd...

I think if Floyd was really a fraud, punk *****, ***** or whatever he would of went through with the Malignaggi fight. But, he didn't... He did what a true fighter is suppose to do and fight the best available so props to him for that. Much respect...
