His claim was Obama tapped Trump Tower. Yet the article clearly states Manafort wasn't under surveillance in July when he & Don Jr had the meeting at Trump tower with the Russian operatives. One month later Manafort was off the campaign. The article also states he wasn't under surveillance when he joined the campaign in May.

Surveillance of Manafort after he's off the campaign doesn't equal to tapping Trump Tower. Especially when the article states he wasn't under surveillance when he had the meeting in July at Trump tower. What part are you not understanding?

I'm not playing semantics. Trump clearly stated Trump Tower was tapped. That's not true and there is no evidence to suggest that & as late as last Friday the FBI denied that. How you're getting "Trump was right" from this is beyond me.

Manafort has been off & on surveillance since 2014, before Trump even announced his run for Presidency. Before Manafort was even thought of as campaign manager for Trump. How is it a disgrace that a subject already under suspicion is tapped? Was the FBI supposed to stop it's suspicion is him just because he's friends with Trump? That's ridiculous
