Maybe I'm wrong, but when Don Miguel said his son was bleeding from his eyes, they show in slow motion what "appears" to be tears of blood coming from Cotto's eyes. It may very well be blood from the face, but it does look like it's on some semi-religious **** when you look at it. Please watch it again. I'm not saying it's literally happening, but when you watch it again, you'll see what Sr. is saying.

I just don't understand why someone would bleed from his eyes and ears. It's almost unheard of.

Not uncommon, Cotto had Mosley bleeding from his ear in their fight. When he said bleeding form his eyes I think he meant all the cuts around his eyes.

At the end of the day, cotto didnt start getting hit as much until he gassed. His last 3 major fights he started the backpedal style after rds 6 or 7.
