Of the 4 million ppv's for Conor vs Floyd, a lot of those were the first boxing PPV that people ever watched. A lot of those were MMA fans buying a boxing fight.

i dont think they meant "hurt" boxing as in boxing will die out or something.

And this was not a true boxing fight since one fighter was not a professional boxer, this fight was irrelevant for boxing, 2 unranked guys, one a mma fighter, the other a retired fighter.

We will see if Floyd goes on a social media rant because Charlo didn't sign a historic largest sports contract which is the real reason Floyd got jealous and bitter. Someone might be an MMA fighter but sees this fight and gets interested in the "boxing" aspect and becomes a great Boxer or great MMA guy. Which strengthens both sports.
