Bottom line: Most of the **** Mayweather gets is for being a ****, not being black. Ali lived in an era of segregation and definitely took a lot of heat just for being black. However, Ali was also a bit of a dick but that's no justification for not being allowed to eat in a restaurant with white people. Overall, the situations aren't comparable - Mayweather takes barely any **** that is undeserved. At the end of the day, Mayweather is an ignorant racist himself so if some other ignorant racists call him a few names too then I'm not bothered, he probably deserves it.

Floyd fans are almost 100% racist! Next to the nut bags who I'd judge only about 50/50 ironically, levelling any accusation of racism from the flowmo community an insult to the world in general.
On the other hand Floyd HIMSELF is not a racist, but Muhammad Ali is by far the most racist guy to ever box.
So basically the entire thread is a bit perplexing since both fighters in their own way represent the epitome of racism in the sport.
Ali of course faced some racism of his own as happened in the times whereas today racism occurs mainly in the other direction.
Go figure!
Maybe one day there will be "equivalence".

who has faced more unfair treatment and racism in their lives to the point where it affected their everyday lives?
As Archie Bunker said when asked the question , who was the great American that declared the Indian was the most mistreated beaten-down race .
Geronimo .

Ali because people are obviously more open minded today than they were back then.
It is just that with Social Media you get to hear more of it from that small minority or smaller than it was back then. Any one with an internet connection can sit behind a computer and say a bunch of hate filled stuff directly to a famous person. However, if the celebrity was to shut that mode of communication down that would be it. They wouldn't have to fight for civil rights unlike their predecessors.
Many people believe racist banter is acceptable, so they may not even mean it out of pure hatred, but sitting behind a computer they become "insta tough" (Box-Office original).
