How long has it been since he cleaned out his division? And some way to move up, cry about injustice and persecution and try to drag up 168 bums to 175. Hell Ggg trying for Chavez at 168 is way better, never mind Froch.

He's not saying Pacquiao is Caucasian but he is implying he is more acceptable to white America than he or Andre Ward. You don't need to be white to be White America's hope. People rooted for Joe Frazier to beat Muhammad Ali. Frazier wasn't white but White America wanted him to beat Ali. Why? Because an arrogant black guy is always public enemy number one in sports. Just look at the whole Richard Sherman debacle. People didn't even know who the guy was but he received a firestorm of hate because of one inappropriate out burst.

Floyd does not articulate himself well but he has a legitimate point. There have been movies and books based on the concept of the "Great White Hype" for years. People act like it is a new phenomenon.

Imagine if Broner wanted to fight the best who fought two divisions below him but not one above him. He would be called a "cherry picker."

One minute it is "ggg fights for pride and not the money and wants to go to 154 for Mayweather because he is the best and wants to challenge himself." But when you bring Ward up and if you truly want to fight the best and cement your legacy why not fight Ward at 168? "Ward is boring, and doesn't bring in money, has 2 fans in Oakland and nobody would buy the fight." Hmmmmm.... That sounds like double talk.

When it comes to ggg vs Ward it is all about money and financial sense. But when it comes to ggg facing Floyd at 154 it is because he wants to challenge himself?

This is another one I hear I had to body bag dude. "Floyd fought three times at 154 so he can fight ggg at that weight what's the problem?" And when asked ggg should be pressured to fight Ward at 168. "ggg has never fought at 168 why should ggg go up and fight the best in a division he has never fought at?"

Last time I CHECKED HE has fought at neither 154 or 168!! It is okay for him to go down and fight a smaller going on damn there 40 year old fighter to a division he has never fought in ad that be okay. But needs tune ups and 2017 to fight Ward? So shouldn't do same rule apply. If you should have a few test fights at 168 before fighting Ward?

Why not have a few test fights at 154 before fighting Floyd? Maybe Lara, Andradade? Charlo Twins? Canelo? It is easy as shyt to pick apart ggg fans and double standards. Only people that should stay and fight in one division are heavy weights for the simple fact it gets no higher than that.

Imagine if Tyson was dominating at 160 but scared to move up to face the top guy at 168? Yeah you can't imagine Tyson being scared of that neither can I.

Ward should and will move up to fight Kovalev and I love it. May the best man win that fight. The backlash stems from ggg's team saying they will fight anybody from 154-168 and the media saying EVERYBODY is scared of him which isn't true. I had to do it. Listen to HBO commentary especially Lampley and Merchant when he was there that sums it up.
Yeah imagine if Bernard Hopkins was 34 and refused to move.............oh whoops that doesn't fir does it? How about Marvin Hagler? Nope doesn't work for him either.

All im saying is if ggg is knocking out every true middleweight he faces clearly he is to strong for thsse guys so why not move up and take a challenge instead of calling out guys like cotto and canelo who aren't even real middleweights

Im asking ggg to move up because the people in his weight class can't compete with him so its time to move up isn't that what all the greats do?

It has nothing to do with racism. Most people like a boxer:

                1) who is exciting in the ring
                2) who is a real man not an effeminate prima donna who demands all the advantages
                3) who is classy with manners and doesn't do a lot of childish whining and bragging and doesn't have ******ed-sounding outbursts
                4) has good sportsmanship.

Joe Frazier was an example of all that, that's why people of all races liked him.

hes got a poiint, look at the ones who are trying to coerce ward to move up to face ggg's bodygyard kovalve.....theyre all ggg fans, the rabid annoying racist ones, not the level headed ones who actually want ggg to face adversity and challenge himself against ward at 168

But Roy Jones was very popular at his peak with plenty of fans, black, white and in-between. Same with Hopkins and certainly Tyson before he went troppo.

When Tyson was at his peak the whole world was hoping he would be great.

The naturally bigger Hopkins didn't move up till 41, well after scoring his biggest wins over blown up welters, neither of whom was sitting on the lineal belt like Cotto/Canelo. And Froch and even Chavez are way better "tuneups" going up in weight than blown up Smith, Murdock, Brand
