Geez, some ****ing ******s on here. He's good, but he ain't close to the GOAT. Saying stuff as inane as "He has defeated many bigger guys than him, and he always give his fans all the fights that they want to see." and that being the reason is just demented.

Maybe we should have a brief look at a guy who was the same size as Pac, literally, and beat heavyweight greats. Beating some guy like Margarito and making a fuss about it pathetic. He was what? Four or five inches taller? He was also slow, no defense, just lost by horrible KO etc etc. Why not look at something like Duran, who started at 118, who also beat a guy that was four or five inches taller but who happened to be one of the greatest fighters of all time in his prime.

What about we look as someone like Jimmy McLarnin who beat about the same amount of HOFers as Pac has beaten champions. In this age of every second fighter having some title to call himself a champion with, it's not really comparable to a guy who beat that many HOFers in a time where there were eight divisions and one title per.

Oh, and if you think Pac is the only guy to have gone from Flyweight to WW, you really need to go back to the books. McLarnin started as a flyweight and became one of the greatest ever WWs, beating HOF greats from flyweight to WW.

Anyway, he's a great but certainly not the GOAT. There are way too many fighters with better resumes with greater fighters, more of them and who have achieved just as much without the laughable 8 division thing. Because really, without the eight division bit, he's an amazing champion but not much more. There are just too many fighters in history who have done more.

The last time Pacquiao fought a prime opponent in there natural weight class was back in 2008 against Marquez (A fight he lost in most peoples eyes) since then he has fought a mixture of declining/weight drained/ or never that good to begin with fighters.

The pattern goes on now moving onto a 40 year old who hasn’t won a fight in over 2 years yet before team Pacquiao realize Mosley was in fact a shadow of his former self they wanted the guy to drain down to 143lbs but after viewing the concrete evidence that Mosley is in fact shot (his last two fights) they decided it was ok to ditch the infamous catch weight.

I'm not old enough to witness other boxers done many great things in the past like you. Did McLarnin also won many titles in his career from Flyweight to WW? Those other GOATs, you think if they started at Flyweight...can get as many titles as Pac did? I mean Pac fought Sasakul when he was just 19 year old, fought Ledwaba in just 2 weeks short notice, moved up at featherweight weight to face the best Featherweight (Barrera) here. Then he fought JMM, Morales, Diaz, Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, and Margarito. I mean they are very good fighters and some of them are sure HOF, certainly very far from a bums like some other fans here trying to portray. To get one title in one division, means you are very good but beating the lineal champ there (Sasakul) when you are just a 19 year old teen is quite a good accomplishment and for anybody. Now beating another good champ at above your weight with just 2 weeks short notice is another thing. A lot of very good champs failed to get another belt when they moved up in weight. Thousands who tried and only a handful succeed. Then you move up again beating the number one at Featherweight where nobody gave you a chance to win was another great thing. Pac could stay there and beat some greats or any upcoming good fighters like some other GOATs did and worked well to them like magic but can't apply to Pac. Why? I mean to prove someone to be a GOAT he needs to do what some other GOATs did in the past? I mean it must be some other way right? Its not Pac fault when he was at Featherweight there was only two HOF there and certainly he beat both of them. As there was no challenge left at Featherweight he moved up to Super Featherweight and fought another HOF here. To simplify my explanation.

I mean those above fighters are very good fighters otherwise they won't get a belt if they are bum fighting a bum and some of them are great/HOF on their respective weight classes. Any good fighters from Sasakul weight classes may not get pass to Lebwaba, let alone to Barrera at 126, more to Morales at 130 and so on. Same goes to any good fighters from Lebwaba weight class may not get pass to Barrera at 126, let alone to Morales at 130 and so on. May point is however good or great you are...there are certain limit that your body can handle but Pacquiao did really great things nobody able to do and may not be able to duplicate by someone however great he is. Another thing is...to be great you have to be beat other greats in your weight classes, then you move up and beat others greats, then you move up and beat others greats, then you move up and beat other greats. You think this will carry on up to 8 divisions without hitting a snag? If you tell me someone might do it in the future then he also must be a GOAT, right? Pac did amazing thing nobody did. Time will only can tell if he is really a rightfully GOAT.

Your opinion holds no water compared to boxing experts who voted Pac as FOTD. You can argue with them, they might listen to your whining and change the outcome. I'm not saying Pac is a GOAT but he has a case compared to other boxers in this era.

Certainly you don't know anything. You can't construct meaningful debates without discrediting the fighter you hate. In my post #27..please tell me, which fighter you thought could do better than Pac in that given time frame. NONE! because nobody did it except Pac. Prime Sasakul, Lebwaba, Barrera, Morales or any 126, 130 and below who were greats in that era can't beat shot Hatton, weight drained Cotto and Margarito who fought Pac at 140, 147, 150!
