BBBoC & UKAD confidentiality rules are a mess, and a potential hotbed for corruption. Rivas should sue the life out of somebody.

Joke carnival barker. What about Rivas? Why was he not told he was in the ring with a cheater? and why does he have a loss in a fight he dropped juiced up Whyte? Hearn knows. Guy is a con man
I don't think Eddie has the b sample in the glove box of his car.

He's calling for UKAD to release a statement.

A statement from UKAD ends the discussion. They either found something or they didn't. If they find something then they should hurry the fk up and ban him. If they didn't then they should hurry the fk up and publicly announce that.

You say "B Sample". I hear "moron".

It's not about the B sample. The B sample doesn't define whether he cheated or not. It's just confirmation of the accuracy of the test. If they are still debating whether he actually cheated or not then the B Sample isn't relevant.

He was only cleared because he fights in that country. He should be banned for 2 years asap. Hes a cheater and this isnt his first time being caught. Shame!!!!

No way the other fighter would've got the same treatment if this happened to his opponent.

Jesus, ever time something on this comes up the same ignorant comments. If you want to make a comment at least understand the groups involved and their obligations and responsibilities.

He wasn't cleaned to fight because they hadn't tested the B-sample, he would be provisionally suspended off a dirty A-sample, testing the B-sample would only confirm the results of the A-sample in 999 out of 1000 cases.

He was cleared to fight because he had a hearing with the NADP and they imposed no provisional suspension, BBBoC had no grounds to not let him fight and would be no doubt successfully sued if they didn't. BBBoC aren't anti doping experts, they take the advice of those who are, i.e. NADP, who follow the WADA code.

UKAD aren't a corrupt boxing organisation, they aren't a boxing organisation at all, UKAD & the NADP (i.e. the expert panel which holds the hearings and makes the decisions) are independent of the BBBoC, which is a boxing organisation.

Rivas' and team weren't informed as it is against the WADA privacy rules to do so, this isn't new or unique.

UKAD are under no obligation to release a statement unless a breach is found, the fact they have already ruled to not provisionally suspend Whyte strongly suggests in their opinion there wasn't one.

Hearn / Matchroom were informed as they were an interested third party (i.e. event promoter), they legally can't inform other parties.

Those people blaming Hearn or BBBoC should really understand how foolish they sound, you really want some promoter or old boxing trainers from the BBBoC ruling on picograms of metabolites for things they have never heard of? Really? Of course not, thats why you have an independent panel of experts who know the science and make the rulings which follow the WADA rules.

Want to blame someone, blame the NADP, just remember they are independent of boxing and actually heard the evidence and viewed the test results.

VADA tested Whyte and said he was clean but he's not a PBC guy so hang him anyway.

Definitely agree with you. Team Rivas are waiting patiently for the outcome of this whole thing, the process is just too long and they cannot ban Whyte until they have completed the process.

Am still shocked about the whole gloves thing which doesn’t seem to be talked about now.
