how many hw move around ?
when hagler fought those ww, those ww never moved back down.
the crime isnt not moving up, its being hypocritical about other people having to move up.

hagler is a 10000% certified HOFer.

I can't fathom the respect you have for Pacquiao then.

Winning titles in different weight classes is your obsession but most fans and experts alike don't share your obsession of deciding how good a boxer was by how many weight classes he fought in. What is ten times as important is how good you were in the weight class you did fight in. If you were not that good a fighter at any weight then so what if you fought at different weights. Hearns was a great fighter who won world titles at 147, 154, 160, 168 and 175. Nobody in their right mind would say Hearns was a better fighter than Hagler. Hagler crushed a young, prime Hearns in less than 3 rounds. Hearns got in his share of bombs but he was still destroyed and lost every round. He wasn't smaller than Hagler in that fight either. He had grown into a full middleweight without an ounce of extra weight. So there is one of your heroes who won titles in 5 weight classes left completely out could in less than 3 rounds by Hagler who you don't respect. You contention that a fighter must fight in numerous weight classes to prove their greatness is badly flawed and without merit and Hagler vs Hearns is one of many examples that prove it. Burns who you respect so much is a very average fighter who doesn't even come close to equaling Hagler in fighting skills or accomplishments and he never will. Burns has never been even close to being the best fighter in any weight class and he will never be close to being the best in any weight class. He just isn't that good and that has already been clearly shown in the fights he has had. In contrast, damn near every boxing fan except you consider Hagler one of the best middleweights in history. He never ducked anyone and defended his world title 4 times a year against a top condender every time. Few champions in history can equal the great job Hagler did as champion.

In regards to Leonard beating Hagler it was a split decision and about half of the boxing fans and experts thought Hagler won the fight. Your brave Leonard flat refused to give Hagler a rematch. Hagler was super deadly in rematches. He always destroyed his opponents in rematches. Leonard was prime for that fight while Hagler was somewhat pass prime from fighting the very best in wars and he was several years older than Leonard. Leonard was not smaller than Hagler. He weighed as much as Hagler with no fat.
