I'm old enough to remember when Jordan broke a leg, came back, and dropped 63 on the C's.

Even Larry Legend understood what was up.

Kobe is a sure fire, first ballot, walk in HOF'er.

And as of now, he isn't on that level.
see ppl read hyperbole like this, gobble it up, recycle it and that's how jordan myths evolve.

jordan broke a tiny bone in his foot beginning of the season.

    not a leg.

he also had half a year to recover. he'd already been back for months when he scored 63.

This was against the peak Celtics.

      In the playoffs.

Let's call it his "80's" era.

Kobe is the closest thing we've seen to Jordan since he retired. But he's not better than Michael.

I've seen them both in their primes, it's Jordan, comfortably. Lebron is better than Kobe too.

Only idiots need to "Settle this".

Micheal Jordan is the greatest player to lace up basketball sneakers. His stats, championships and MVP's are all you need to "settle" anything.

End of thread, End of discussion, End of topic

I'm a die hard Laker fan, been one since the early 80's BTW.
