Let the fight happen in the Phillipines this time, and only then, will this be a fair fight. Otherwise, another fight in USA would prove literally nothing. A potential rematch should at least take place in a neutral territory like Germany or Britain.

Mayweather did nothing to suggest he won the fight against Pacquiao. Not saying Pacquiao did enough either. Because neither guy dominated or proved to be better. Was an even fight throughout 12 rounds.

No one thinks Floyd kicked Manny's ass in a Gatti type way. No one thinks this was a vintage Floyd performance.

That said, to pretend this fight was close on the cards or there was somehow doubt about who won is simply a case of letting dislike for Floyd drive thinking. Doing that is just as problematic as letting love for Floyd drive your thinking.

I can understand why you jump on any Floyd fan that lets their fandom make them over exaggerate what happened but when someone does the opposite and lets their hate make them over exaggerate the same criticism should be made.

The fight may have lacked action and was boring, that fact doesn't mean the scoring of the fight was wrong or the outcome was inconclusive. There was a clear winner in this fight. Generally in boxing a clear win doesn't warrant a rematch.

It feels like most people that want a rematch only do so just to give Manny a chance to look better than he did the 1st fight.

You sound worried. I'll pick the Manny who just fought over that sloppy slow version of Mayweather who fought Connor. You don't know who would win a rematch so quit acting like you do. Mayweather beat Pacquiao by 8 rounds to 4. It wasn't this schooling and ownership Mayweather fans claim it was. It was close enough that the younger active Pacquiao could get the win over a retired Mayweather in a rematch. I know damn well you would not bet your house on Mayweather in a rematch. You talk big about Mayeather now because no fight is on the table and they probably will never rematch. You English Mayweather kiss ass worshipers are worse than the state side ones.
Who said I was against it?

          If it happens it happens.

I do not think it will nor do I think we need to see it.

All it will be is the same money grab we saw with Conor and it will be a fraction as exciting.

Floyd carried Conor, didn't even train or spar the last month before the fight. You think that is going to happen with Pac? LMAO!!!

But, you still haven't explained why you were one of the folks talking about how the fight happened 5 years late and yet now here you are geeking out over one that could happen a decade too late.

          What's up with that, Boliboy?

And yes it was an ass whipping.

It was Floyd's easiest fight since Marquez back in 09, and just as one-sided in many respects.

A rematch will be even more so.

Pretty much every Pac thread since the fight, you have at least one moron calling for a rematch and in most more than that.

            Look for yourself.

Truth is, Pac beat a guy that was washed up. the win means absolutely nothing in context as to how he'd do versus guys that aren't washed up OR guys who will always have his number...like Floyd or JMM.

Manny loses no matter how many times they fight or when.

Nah. That's your own delusion, because you seemed bitter than Manny had his shine once more and wants to remind everyone about Floyd.

Dude, what shine are you talking about?

Pac beat a washed guy that struggled against someone nobody heard of to take the WBA's second rate belt.

That's what just happened, without any exaggeration or detraction, with just facts and plain truth.

There's no shine to that...except in the eyes of the same idiots that ever thought Pac was a great fighter at 147.

He is a first ballot unanimous HOFer for everthing he did thru superfeatherweight.

Most of everything above that was a little bit of talent coupled with an awful lot of smoke and mirrors...and it was exposed on several occasions at 147 too.

Pac haters seem more concerned about pacs saftey than pac himself. Pac loves the sport more than any of y'all. Pac wants to challenge himself against Floyd whats the problem?
