I'm thinking some kinda upload into a Gaiaesque biological super-conciousness, man. All this stuff is a bit of a change of pace from my slightly dodgy past, but honestly I'm kinda liking it... ha ha least I'm not having to keep one eye over my shoulder every minute of the day... the most dangerous thing that's likely to happen is some colourfully dressed beardy dude trying to slip me some ayahuasca.

Nah, not at all. There have just been literally no fights of any significance that weren't absolute mismatches for the last coupla of weeks - also I haven't got round to updating cos... well, I'm a lazy bastard and there didn't seem to be a pressing need without any fights, but I've also been having a bit too much fun IRL. I've only just got back from a long weekend having my head baked in a field full of tree huggers in Derbyshire helping run a laughter yoga workshop...

We got Pac - Matthysse and Zeuge vs Fielding this week and I'll have the leaderboard up to speed in a day or two, also gonna be culling the inactive players filling up the bottom half of the table and there may also be a little surprise incoming...

There was in fact a great deal of healthy looking bouncing brown nuggage on display due to the prolonged heatwave we're having over here. I count myself blessed that Ms Koba is tolerant of my tendency to drool over lithe, tanned, nubile bodies stretching and flexing in the morning sun... but I digress...

EDIT: Just thought to check urban dictionary for 'nuggs', man, I hadn't heard that one before - must be a US thing. I just assumed it was some kinda euphemism for tits. ..

As I mentioned above, I'm a lazy bastard and I also got a real life to live. I sat down to do it this a.m but then got sidetracked when the baby woke up...

What I am looking for is somebody or ideally another 2 or 3 to help spread the workload and also to get a spread of opinion when any decisions need making. You seem keen, perhaps I can can count you in, man?

Gonna aim to get the table done tonight and this weeks pick 'em up by tomorrow eve. I'm gonna be around for Usyk - Gassiev too but then I'm away for a coupla weeks. I was hoping to have someone step up by then, just to keep an eye on things and possibly compile the results if not to update the table, but with siablo still AWOL and john apparently departed permanently it looks like I'll just have to wing it best I can.

Half year standings table

OK Gentlemen, we've reached the halfway point in the 2018 Pick 'Em and it's time to cast off some of the dead wood.

All players with less than 100 points or with 5 or fewer total picks this year will have their entry removed from the leaderboard. Any player thus removed can be reinstated on request if they wish to resume playing or for any other reason they choose. Any player so reinstated will be returned to the leaderboard with the same number of picks, points, multipliers as when they left off and any runs will remain intact.

Below is the leaderboard as it would have stood on the 1st July 2018 (if I'd got my ass round to updating it in time) to act as a reference in the event of any future queries regarding the cull. This represents the standings after updating for Pick 'em #35 and #36 but before any names have been removed.
