Will Lil'G wait until he's around 40 until a Jermaine Taylor convinces him to move up?

Will Lil'G be just as great 6 years after come fight night?

I'm starting to think you don't even like Golovkin.

It would have made for a boring era in boxing, but they dared to be great.

I think you can criticize GGG for his willingness to go to 168 to fight bums and fading guys for big money and not truly great fighters. You can't criticize him for staying disciplined in his training and diet such that he doesn't gain weight.

Posters sometimes give credit to guys for "moving up" when what really happened was they ate, drank, and smoked their way out of the previous weight class and moved up out of necessity, not in a quest for greatness.

Marvin Hagler sure wasn't a great fighter. He never fought Michael Spinks doe.

Roy jr and toney wouldn't have taken steroids if they stayed at 160.

if golovkin was younger and an american, he would had unifyed the middelweight div and moved up long time ago.
he was already 30 when he got his first fight on hbo.
Those who followed boxing for some time and isn't biased know golovkin would be a champion, he had problems with his first promoter universum and was already avoided by fighters/promotors early in his career brcause of his knockouts and big name wins as an amateur

Spinks fought at 175 and then went to heavyweight..how is that even relevant?

Let's see, Hagler fought Briscoe, Hearns, Duran, Leonard, Mugabi, and Roldan to name a few.

Who's GGG's "Hearns, Duran, Mugabi and Loenard" going to be? Jesse Brinkley, Willie Monroe and Gabe Rosado.

Why do fans keep bringing up Mugabi, he wasn't that good he literally beat no one before or after Hagler. He was a hype job.

Let's be honest a lot of fighters have zero heart these days. Cotto and Canelo refused to fight GGG unlike Hearns and Duran. Mayweather retired and unlike SRL he won't dare take the challenge.

Roldan was decent. Briscoe was old when Hagler fought him.
