What stood out to me here is something similar to the Toney-Barkley thread you did.

Foreman played around with three basic combinations in those gifs:

    Jab, right uppercut.
    Jab, left hook.
    Jab, straight right hand.

By mixing and matching those he had Frazier guessing and bamboozled as to where the punches were coming from. Anticipating one of the combos leaves you vulnerable to the other two.

Very much! And when people can start climbing out of the stereotypes they may learn among other facts... marciano, Foreman, Liston were not dopes!!! not by any stretch! The methods are all there on tape, tape is a great resource brought o bare by the great creator. Then we have people like the OP who look carefully at this gift and we are elevated!! From merely punching each other, we can see the technos, the strategy, the challenge one faces when making decisions where getting your lights punched out can happen, gives pause for consideration.

      Thank you OP

Great comment. There is also something about a big man punching down...its the same principle as having the higher ground. Vantage point, etc are maximized. Frazier could not hit Foreman when Foreman was extending his arms pushing frazier away and hitting downward...minus the uppercut of course. Range finding at its best.
