thats why you should never make decision based of emotions, had this guy not signed up 2 days after the 9/11 attack and took time and not let his emotions get involved he would never have joined and been okay today.
A cruel way of looking at it but it is the truth.
I blame the parents (mainly the fathers) for not teaching these people how to be men and think for themselves and put emotions aside when making serious decisions. If you havent had that instilled in you by 18 you will most likely never learn it and when and if you do it will be most than likely the very hard way.
