To be fair I don't think Luka will be the number 1 player in the league, his ceiling is that of a 25+ point scorer, and he has a great chance of being a top 15 player, maybe even top 10.

Can't really compare Dirk to Ginobili, but at his peak years, yeah Dirk was unstoppable. But you get more value for your money with Ginobili. Ginobili was STILL balling out last year at 40, while Dirk been on a welfare plan from the Mavs for like the past 3 years.

My Mavs did good by trading for him. The kid has skills. He needs to cut down on the TOs but he's not afraid of the moment. I love the fact that hes leading Dallas right now and has them competing. They aren't getting the results on the road, but damn they play hard and it starts with Luka.

All they really need to get to the next level is to have him and Smith play with consistency. I can see Luka get some mvp love in a few years. Dude simply has game
