Matthew Macklin vs Dmitry Pirog

Macklin would win. Hes fought the better competition and has alot more experiance. Pirog is getting overrated based on a KO over a hypejob in Jacobs. Other than that he hasnt done anything. Macklin has a solid chin and would be far the best opponent Pirog has ever faced.

Macklin should chase that fight if its so winnable for him, but instead he rather get his ass beat by Martinez for a bigger check. He's looking to cash out, so obviously he feels a boxer like Pirog is too much for him.

Pirog and his promoter probably want nothing to do with Macklin.

Martinez is the top guy at middleweight. Its good that hes chasing the lineal champ.

Pirog was mentioned as a potential opponent for Lucian Bute at 168.

If Pirog's promoter isn't scared to try to get a Bute fight, he is definitely not afraid to match Pirog up against Matthew Macklin in my own personal opinion.
