I totally feel you. The older I get, the more i feel like is this really it? I wake up 5:00 every morning, rush to my office to beat traffic, deal with all kinds of fked up characters for nine hours , then i come home to my beautiful kids. Soon as i get home, i smoke a bowl and post on nsb while my girls jump on my back and neck. Eat dinner, go to sleep, and repeat ..

I mean Im very thankful for what I have and my family but i cant help but to feel so trapped sometimes.

Few things feel as bad as feeling unappreciated.

That said, there are ways and means to force people to appreciate you. Tell your wife to get a job if she wants **** other families want. I think I can recall you saying you felt a sense of pride from being a provider, but if the lengths you go to in order to provide aren't appreciated, have your wife provide as well.

With regards to your kids, deny them ****. "Daddy, I hate you!" results in them having dry bread and water for lunch. Make them realize just how hard you work.

If all else fails, just bail for a week. "I'll come back when you ****ers learn how to say thank you!"
