  • Everyone Wants to Talk About Floyd's IV - What About Pac-Monster's Toradol Abuse???

    http://boxingtribune-news.com/posts/...injection.html

It’s the sporting world’s worst kept secret that Toradol has been widely used as somewhat of a legalized cheat or substitute “pep pill” for otherwise healthy players looking to be temporarily rejuvenated for the game. In a legitimately injured athlete Toradol completely masks the effects of that injury, allowing the player to perform as if nothing were wrong. In an athlete not suffering from a debilitating injury, however, it turns him into what could be described as a virtually indestructible force.

We just can't leave either scenario go, huh? Literally every angle about Floyd-Manny has been exhausted for quite some time now

          Depends. Was he really hurt?

Two things: Manny stated he wasn't hurt in the checklist before the fight. Toradol is basically an enhancer if you aren't fighting pain and recovering from an injury.

Was Manny allowed to get the injection? Was Floyd? There's why nobody brings up Manny's "abuse", it was rejected, didn't happen so non-issue.

End of the day, you're talking about a NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) that wasn't taken vs a known masking technique that was. Apples and oranges. If you want to read up on the drug check out http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15829391 it's essentially ibuprophen (Advil) in a different delivery.

It's because like I've said before, Manny Pacquiao was the "Great White Hope" by proxy that the used to try to "shut Floyd up" because they don't like seeing a flamboyant Black man who doesn't know his place.

Once Floyd won, they've used every excuse in the book

"He waited until Manny got old", as if Manny isn't younger than Floyd

"Ugh, Floyd was on steroids", as if Floyd's a power puncher who needed more strength to beat Manny.

The bottom line is Floyd is and was always the greater fighter and he won the fight the same way he would have 10 years ago, with great defense and counter punching and because he was the taller fighter with the greater reach to keep Manny off of him.

They won't let it go. They hate that Floyd retired with his zero intact.
