There is too much emphasis put on building certain fighters up that are deemed valuable by a promoter who's taken an interest in him usually.

I think boxing would be more fun & definitely more competitive if fights at all levels were matchmade better. There'd be fewer pretty records, but there'd be better fighters & the cream would rise to the top quicker & the frauds would be outta the game quicker.

the same reason u dont walk into your job everyday and take on the hardest thing to do every day all day. its simply just not reality, once u accompany that these guys are getting paid to fight it shouldnt be that hard to figure out.

Sports don't usually work like that doe. You walk onto the football field your freshman year in Highschool & if you keep winning you are playing for the state championship at the end of the year. And its like that at every level of most competitive sports.

Only in boxing do we gotta wait 2-6 years usually to see a guy in a competitive fight & almost never is that because he was the #1 guy by a mile the whole time.

Wilder had a 30-5 record while Joshua had a 40-3 amateur record and both went to Olympics and both started late yet wilder had 31 filler fights before facing 8 nobodies who were old and out of shape.. people try and say wilders first step ups were povetkin and Ortiz and atleast he tried t fight them but c'mon they were old as **** and drug cheats.. atleast klitsko still had it and also Joshua fought him for 2 titles unlike wilder who does ****ty mandatories

Wilder's amateur career lasted 2.5 years, most of his fights occurred within a single year. Joshua's amateur career lasted 6 years.

Wilder was a 200lb HW in the amateurs, AJ fought at SHW in the amateurs.

Calling Ortiz old or a drug cheat doesn't change the fact that he's arguably the BEST southpaw heavy of all time. He's obviously way better than guys like Moorer or Sanders, champions from the 90's and 00's.

If you are going to trash GGG shouldn't you also be trashing Saunders who only defends his title against boxers GGG already knocked out? Monroe, Lemieux and now Murray. GGG has fought the two best middleweights in the world next to himself in Jacobs and Canelo.Top middleweights have often refused to fight GGG but he has never avoided a top middleweight and you damn well know it.
