Anyone here into the classic old skool games?

I've been using emulators on Raspberry Pi and my Mac.

If you're not aware of what it's all about, here's an example:

I use Recallbox aswell!!!
An older version 4 doe - I Don't like the latest one.

Android devices are amazing for emulation as well.
I actually recommend that as a starting point for noobs....

Have you heard of "Lakka"? I think that's what It's called....
The UI is like PS3.....

Loving the old retro games, had my pi setup for a while now and don't seem to care for modern games any more. Currently been playing Legend of the mystical ninja for the snes although i find myself spending more time playing about with the retropie menus than playing games

If you are a fan You should check out the old Japanese exclusives for snes...

I'm guessing you know where to get roms....

I've loaded up most of the consoles so any recommendation would be appreciated mate. Until i get the video previews sorted i tend to find myself searching through games not knowing what the hell they are, so struggle to enjoy new content.

The Firemen (kind of like a top down shooter. surprisingly immersive. Very good)

Ghost sweeper mikami (based on an anime, great action platfromer with superb music and graphics)

Spark world (If you like bomberman you will love this)

Space Megaforce (aka super aleste - The snes was kinda weak when It came to shooters This is the best on the system doe hands down)

Go to "paradise" or "romhacking" frequently and check to see whats been translated. Stuff Is being updated all the time!!!!

Yeah, most of the homebrew hacks I get and are interested in getting are usually English translations and US versions of Japan exclusives on NES or SNES, like Goonies, which I got on an NES cart from Ebay and I want to get Sweet Home, which heavily influenced Resident Evil and even had one of the same writers, I think.
