Barrera if anything is more known than Beterbiev but he's supposed to take a 25% split?
Nobody is going to accept that split when Beterbiev is no more of a draw than they are.

For as "more known than Beterbiev" Barrera is, there's literally no path to another big payday for Barrera without Beterbiev.
Yes, you take the 25% of the bid, and you hope against hope that your ability ends up being better than what Beterbiev is able to bring on fight night

If Ward ducks the Kovalev rematch, Barrera is a likely opponent HBO would want for Kovalev, and he won't duck him like Beterbiev.

No one is ducking Beterbiev. $62k is not a reasonable purse for Barrera for this fight.
Not fighting a guy because he brings no money is not ducking him, it's the business side of boxing.
